Interlochen, Interlochen - Kresge.
This was the last year for a long-running program. However it was my first year recording at Interlochen, so I was an observer (and engineer). The standard setup was 5 KM84’s across the front of the stage while the main actors wore wireless (Coopermans of some sort). In the pit, myself and Jason came up with a spaced B&K arrangement over the strings with a KM86 (on omni) in the center (but much lower). There were also a few additional high-lites. Working with FOH for splits, this was all mixed live to 2-track (no mulitracking at Interlochen) on a Panasonic DA-7. A break from the usual concert stream, however I remember humming the rather catchy tunes the rest of the week…bah…
