Neumann U87
A very popular and well known microphone. Used in many applications from classical to rock music. There have been several models of this microphone, the older ones having greater value for keeping an “original” sound. It has the option of picking up in several ways.
I used this microphone at both Michigan State University and Interlochen Public Radio (though a much older model).
