Interlochen, Interlochen - Public Radio Studio A.
Live from Studio A is a program featuring both guest artists, students and faculty who perform live on the air to IPR’s very critical audience in Northern Michigan. This particular show featured members from the 2004 Interlochen Ensemble, one of whom is now at Curtis and knew my best-man (who graduated there a few years ago). Small world…. In any event, the mics in this session were placed by the senior engineer. Other processing is done in the control room (including T.C. reverb) and sent to the broadcast room down the hall. There is also an interview before and after done in studio A with the host.
