Rode NTK
Another Interlochen mic that I have to consult the recordings to refersh my mind. This mic has a tube box with a very pretty blue power light. The mic itself gets rahter warm (much like the Neumann M150s) and has a very tube-ish sound. They are fixed cardioids.
We (me and another student engineer) did some switching between this mic and the Neumann M147. With the rather bright piano, I would go with the style of music before choosing one or the other, because of the higher-end response both mics give.
