This is one tough mic, as most people say. However, this is the one and only microphone I have broken. Sound-wise, I have seen this mic used on a great many of things, and in general I would call it the multi-purpose/swiss army knife of the studio. There is a newer model out with some improved features; electronic switching and improved suspension (the two largest features). I own a pair of these mics and have used them on a large range of things from vocals, guitar, and even my dog snoring [class project]. What will YOU use them on?
