I bit my tongue trying not to use any additional spot mics. I was really going for a new sound; much simplier and pure. After all, it’s only two instruments. The only side affect was panning, but man… I will say over and over, this mic is wonderful. Musicians might think you are going cheap on them if they are accustomed to plentiful amounts of gear on stage - just be aware. To those of you who are musicians, a good engineer will take care of you and your feedback is always welcome (at least with me). However… its age has produced some bad connections, and 5 mins before show the left channel cut out, and I had to swap a cable on stage… (Millennia Tube preamps)
