You may look at the photo and wonder about the stand/mic on the violin. This is typical of the Verdehr Trio (as seen in other concerts), and helps to balance the group on recordings. The mic is placed upon request. This concert honors MSU’s Sesquicentennial as well as the collaboration of MSU and the Verdehr Trio in their joint commissioning project over the past 20 years.
