Moving coil cardioid. Used on a lot of things somewhere between live sound and lower budget recording studios (thoughprices isn’t always a factor for audio).
I keep seeing this mic used on toms for recording sessions, and on sax. I never really got an ear for this mic, so not much else I can say.
