Neumann TLM193
This is a fairly neutral Neumann microphone. It had a wide range of uses, although not as popular as some of the other models.
Actually, I really have not been able to find a good use for this. I’ve tried it on chorus as hi-lites, solo for a mezzo-soprano and tenor in Verdi’s Requiem, and guitar. My opinion is that it is just missing something in the mid-high range…. I can’t put my finger on it, but I do not have any special uses for this mic and generally stopped using it towards the last year working for RecServ
